Gregory H., M.D. Age 29. Beloved son of Drs. Robert and Karen Miday (nee Kallberg), dear brother of Christopher (Nicole) and Erica Rose Miday, loving uncle of Max and dear friend of Ellen Galloway. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. Proud graduate (salutatorian) of Walnut Hills High School, Northwestern University, and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Following Internal Medicine residency at Washington University, St. Louis, he became an Instructor of Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. A brilliant physician, he was beloved by patients for his dedication and compassion. He was a Board member and volunteer at Gateway 180 Shelter in St. Louis. A young Renaissance man, physician, writer, artist, pianist, fashionista, juggler, adventure lover, traveler, Greg challenged himself in all his endeavors. With all his talents and accomplishments he struggled in a world that didn’t fully understand his pain. We love you dearly and will forever be proud of you. Friday, June 22, 2012 in St. Louis. Family and friends are invited to the Visitation at Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home, Mt. Lookout, Thursday, June 28 from 5-8pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rose Garden at Spring Grove Cemetery, Friday, June 29 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Gateway 180 Shelter, or, Harris House, both in St. Louis, MO.
